Gold prices in Pakistan remained unchanged on Thursday, bringing some stability to the local
precious metals market. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association,
24-karat gold continued to sell at Rs437,836 per tola. The latest rates provide useful information
for people planning to purchase jewellery or following gold prices for investment purposes.
The association reported that 10 grams of 24-karat gold remained priced at Rs375,373.
Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold stayed at Rs344,104. These unchanged rates
mean buyers continued to face the same gold prices during the latest market update. However,
jewellery shops may charge additional amounts for making charges and other expenses.
Gold prices also remained stable in the international market, where one ounce was priced at
$4,153. The unchanged international rate followed the same pattern seen in Pakistan’s local
market. Many consumers and investors monitor these figures because changes in gold prices
can influence purchasing decisions and investment plans.
Unlike gold, silver prices recorded a decline in both local and international markets. The price of
silver decreased by Rs212 per tola, bringing the local rate down to Rs6,148. Similarly, 10 grams
of silver became cheaper by Rs182 and reached Rs5,270. This decline offered buyers a lower
market rate compared with the previous prices.
In the international market, silver prices also fell by $2.12 per ounce to reach $56.70. This
movement showed that silver experienced a price decline while gold remained unchanged. The
difference between the two metals highlights why buyers should monitor their individual market
rates before making purchasing decisions.
The latest update gives consumers a clearer picture of precious metal prices across Pakistan.
People planning to buy gold or silver should confirm the latest rates with trusted jewellers before
completing their purchases. Final jewellery costs may vary depending on metal purity, making
charges, and shop policies.
