New FCCI Leadership Urged to Follow Ethics, Discipline and Policy Continuity

The FCCI new leadership has been urged to follow ethics, discipline and policy continuity while
serving Faisalabad’s business community. National Group leader and former FPCCI President
Mian Muhammad Adrees shared this message during a training workshop for the newly elected
FCCI Executive Committee. He said office bearers should put public service before personal
interests and work together to strengthen the chamber.

Adrees explained that FCCI President Arif Ehsan Malik is the chief executive for the current
year. He advised committee members to support the president and use their skills for the
chamber’s shared goals. He said each member should understand their authority and
responsibilities before taking action. Members should also discuss business problems with their
sectors and offer practical solutions through proper consultation.

He stressed that successful policies should continue from one leadership term to another.
Adrees said the National Group has maintained continuity in FCCI leadership for about three
decades. He suggested that outgoing leaders should provide written records of completed
projects and unfinished work. This would help the new team continue important work and
address business issues more effectively. He also proposed digital monitoring for standing
committees.

National Group leader Mian Javed Iqbal also addressed the workshop and discussed FCCI’s
history. He highlighted contributions to the Faisalabad Dry Port, Garment City and industrial
estates. He advised the new leadership to choose five or six priority projects and work on them
with clear goals. He said unfinished projects should be formally handed over to future leaders
during the leadership transition period.

Master trainer Wali Zahid and former FCCI presidents also attended carefully. They discussed
leadership responsibilities and answered questions from committee members. Certificates were
later distributed among workshop participants. The workshop aimed to help the new leadership
understand institutional responsibilities and serve Faisalabad’s business community with
discipline and transparency.
