The National Youth Mobile Travel & Tourism Videography Competition 2026 is giving young
Pakistanis a chance to promote tourism through videos.
The initiative is being organised by the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation with Vivo
under the Government of Pakistan for creators. Supported by the Ministry of Tourism, the
programme focuses on students and content creators interested in travel, storytelling and
media. Participants will attend a one-day training workshop in Islamabad where they can learn
travel videography skills and creative storytelling techniques.
The training will cover framing, storytelling and editing, helping beginners create attractive travel
videos with smartphones and simple production methods. The competition will include visits to
important places such as Rohtas Fort, Katas Raj Temples and Taxila Museum for participants.
These locations can give young creators valuable opportunities to capture Pakistan’s history,
heritage and culture through meaningful visual stories locally.
The programme comes as social media has become a popular way for people to discover travel
destinations and experiences today.
Participants are encouraged to highlight beautiful landscapes, cultural traditions, historical
landmarks, local lifestyles and lesser-known tourist places across Pakistan today.
Their videos can create user-generated content that introduces Pakistan to wider audiences
through authentic stories and personal travel experiences online. The competition offers rewards
and recognition for participants, including premium smartphones and other prizes sponsored by
Vivo Pakistan for winners. Participants can also gain confidence, practical experience and
useful skills for future careers in travel vlogging and digital media ahead.
The Top 20 participants will be selected for a week-long tour of northern Pakistan and explore
its natural beauty together.
This opportunity can help young creators improve their storytelling skills while promoting
responsible tourism and respect for nearby local communities.
Overall, the competition gives young people an opportunity to learn, travel and tell stories while
presenting Pakistan’s tourism potential worldwide.
