Government College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS) participated in the Punjab Interfaith
Student Ambassadors Workshop through its Directorate of Student Affairs (DSA). According to
a university press release, the workshop focused on promoting peace and understanding
among people from different religious backgrounds.

The workshop highlighted the importance of interfaith dialogue and mutual respect. It
encouraged students to understand different beliefs and treat everyone with kindness. The
event also emphasized how tolerance can help people live together peacefully despite their
religious and cultural differences.

The workshop aimed to prepare students to become ambassadors of peace and harmony. It
encouraged them to spread messages of respect and understanding in their universities and
communities. Students were also guided to support inclusivity and create an environment where
everyone feels respected and accepted.

Interfaith harmony is important for building a peaceful society. Educational institutions can play a
major role by teaching students to respect different beliefs and opinions. Such activities also
help young people develop leadership skills and learn how to resolve differences through
discussion.

GCWUS participation reflects the university’s commitment to responsible student leadership.
The institution aims to provide an educational environment where diversity is respected and
students learn to value one another. Through these efforts, the university seeks to encourage
positive attitudes and stronger relationships among people from different backgrounds.
The workshop also highlighted the role of students in promoting social harmony. Young people
can help reduce misunderstandings by encouraging respectful conversations and cooperation.
Their involvement can support an inclusive society where people live together with peace and
dignity.

GCWUS continues to support educational activities that encourage positive values and
responsible citizenship. Its participation in the workshop reflects its efforts to promote tolerance
and interfaith understanding among students. These initiatives can help build a more peaceful
and respectful community.
