Popular Pakistani singer Asim Azhar has invited young musicians from Lahore’s Surtaal Music
Academy to perform as the opening act at his upcoming Asim Ali Tour. The talented children will
join the singer at three concerts in Pakistan and get a chance to perform on a major music
platform.

The Surtaal Kids Band will perform alongside Asim Azhar in Faisalabad on November 6, Lahore
on November 7 and Islamabad on November 8. These concerts will be the children’s first major
public performances with a well-known Pakistani singer.

The announcement was shared through a joint Instagram post by Asim Azhar and Surtaal Music
Academy. The young musicians expressed their happiness and excitement about getting this
opportunity to perform with the singer.

In a video shared on social media, Asim Azhar explained why he invited the children to join his
tour. He said the young performers had welcomed him with great love when he visited their
academy. He decided to return their kindness by giving them an opportunity to perform as the
opening act at his concerts.

During the visit, the children also performed one of Asim Azhar’s popular songs, Jo Tu Na Mila.
Their performance showed their singing abilities and musical talent. Asim Azhar also joined
them during the musical session and appreciated their efforts.

Surtaal Music Academy is based in Lahore and is known for training young musicians. The
academy has gained attention on social media because of its students’ performances of
traditional and modern music.

The academy was established in 2016 by music teacher Zia-ul-Haq. Its main aim is to provide
proper music education to children, especially those who cannot afford expensive music
lessons.

The academy offers free music classes and trains more than 100 students. Children learn
singing and different musical instruments under the guidance of experienced teachers. The
academy also provides opportunities for students to improve their skills and perform before
audiences.

Recently, the Surtaal Kids Band gained popularity on social media after performing the famous
song Alfaaz with Norwegian singer and dancer William Gamborg during his visit to the academy.
The children’s performance received positive reactions from social media users. Many people
appreciated their singing skills and their understanding of traditional Qawwali music. Some
viewers also called them the “little Nusrats” because of their impressive musical style.
The performance helped bring more attention to the academy and its young performers. It also
showed the musical talent that is developing among children in Pakistan.
Now, their upcoming performances with Asim Azhar will provide another important opportunity
for the young musicians. They will perform before larger audiences and gain valuable stage
experience.

Asim Azhar’s decision to support these children also highlights the importance of established
artists encouraging new talent. Such opportunities can help young performers build confidence
and develop their careers in the music industry.

The upcoming concerts are expected to give the Surtaal Kids Band a memorable experience
while introducing more people to the musical abilities of Pakistan’s younger generation.
