The FIA counterfeit products case has resulted in the arrest of a man accused of making and
selling fake products. The Federal Investigation Agency’s Corporate Crime Circle Lahore
conducted a raid in Shah Alam Market and arrested the suspect during the operation. The
suspect was identified as Ikramullah, according to an FIA spokesperson who shared details
about the action. Officials said he was allegedly involved in preparing and selling counterfeit
products belonging to a registered company without permission.

During the raid, the FIA team recovered a large quantity of suspected fake products from the
suspect’s possession. The recovered items reportedly carried the logo and packaging of a
registered company, according to the information shared by officials. The FIA said the suspect
was allegedly producing and selling these products without authorization from the company
concerned. The action took place in Shah Alam Market, Lahore, where officials moved against
the suspected counterfeit product activity.

The arrest is part of efforts to protect registered companies and their products from
unauthorized copying and sales. Counterfeit products can create financial problems for genuine
businesses and may also confuse customers who expect authentic products. The FIA has a
mandate that includes handling cases involving intellectual property rights and counterfeit
products, according to its official website.

Following the raid, the suspect was taken into custody and further investigation was started by
the FIA. Investigators will examine the recovered products and other evidence to understand the
full scope of the alleged activity. They may also determine whether other people were connected
with the suspected production and sale of fake products.

The allegations against Ikramullah remain subject to investigation and legal proceedings. The
latest action shows that authorities continue monitoring markets for suspected violations
involving registered brands and intellectual property rights. The FIA has previously taken similar
action against counterfeit product activities in Lahore, including raids where fake goods were
recovered from suspects.
