athletes an opportunity to compete against international opponents and develop their
professional tennis skills. The Junaid Family Foundation is sponsoring the tournament to
support women’s tennis and promote international sporting opportunities in Pakistan.
Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President of the Pakistan Tennis Federation, and Col. Zia-ud-Din Tufail

thanked the foundation for supporting the championship and contributing to the growth of
women’s tennis in the country.

Nepal’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Ms. Rita Dhital, visited the tennis complex and watched the
matches. She also interacted with participating players during her visit. Her presence added an
international diplomatic dimension to the sporting event.
