The RCCI Chinese delegation meeting was organized in Rawalpindi on Tuesday to strengthen
trade relations between Pakistan and China. The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and
Industry (RCCI) arranged the business meeting to create new opportunities for companies from
both countries. Discussions focused on joint ventures and helping Pakistani businesses reach
international markets.
RCCI President Nosherwan Khalil Khan chaired the meeting with senior officials and business
representatives. Participants included Senior Vice President Waseem Aslam, Vice President
Ikram Abbasi, and former presidents Raja Amer Iqbal and Malik Shahid Saleem. Executive
committee members also attended to discuss ways to improve business cooperation and
develop stronger commercial connections.
During the session, Nosherwan Khalil Khan thanked the Chinese delegation for supporting more
than 75 RCCI member companies participating in the upcoming 140th China Import and Export
Fair. The event is widely known as the Canton Fair and offers businesses opportunities to
present their products to international buyers. He highlighted the growing interest of Pakistani
companies in entering global markets and joining international supply chains.
Cindy Chen led the Chinese delegation and explained the business opportunities available
through the Canton Fair. She said the event provides a platform for Pakistani entrepreneurs to
meet Chinese buyers and connect with businesses from other countries. These connections can
help companies explore new markets and build long-term commercial relationships.
Both sides discussed direct business cooperation and possible partnerships between industries.
They also emphasized the importance of building lasting connections between business
organizations in Pakistan and China.
The meeting provided an opportunity for business representatives to exchange ideas and
explore shared commercial interests. Participation in international trade fairs can help Pakistani
companies introduce their products to more customers and discover potential business
partners. The expected participation of over 75 RCCI member firms highlights efforts to expand
Pakistan’s international trade opportunities.
