An 18-year-old girl murder case in Lahore has led to the arrest of her father, two brothers and
sister in the Sanda area. The victim was identified as Maham and police said she suffered
serious injuries before being taken to Ganga Ram Hospital. According to police, Maham was
allegedly subjected to severe violence at the hands of family members. She was reportedly
beaten with pipes, iron rods and other objects during the incident. Police said Maham was
brought to the hospital in critical condition on September 26. She later died after doctors were
unable to save her life due to the reported injuries. Police said the suspects allegedly left
Maham at the hospital and fled from the location. The case was registered after police began
investigating the circumstances surrounding her death. The arrested suspects include her father
Muhammad Anwar, brothers Hammad and Hamza and sister Hina. Police said all four suspects
are now in custody.

Police said the investigation found several serious injuries on Maham’s body during the initial
inquiry. Officials alleged that the young woman had suffered repeated physical violence before
she was taken to hospital. Police also said her sensitive body parts had reportedly been burned
with hot iron and a knife. These details are based on the initial police investigation and remain
subject to further legal proceedings. Police registered a murder case on their own complaint
after learning about the circumstances of Maham’s death. The authorities have arrested all four
main suspects and are questioning them about the incident. Investigators are also collecting
evidence to understand what happened before Maham was brought to Ganga Ram Hospital.
Police said the investigation is continuing and further action will be taken according to the
available evidence. The case has raised serious concerns because the victim was only 18 years
