The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has completed all
arrangements for the Intermediate 2nd Annual Examination 2026. The examinations will begin
on Tuesday, November 3, across the Rawalpindi division.

The board has established 41 examination centers in six districts to ensure that students can
take their exams smoothly. All administrative and security arrangements have also been
completed.

According to BISE spokesperson Arslan Ali Cheema, roll number slips have been issued to all
eligible candidates. Examination staff have also been assigned duties at all designated centers.
The examination centers have been distributed across different districts. Rawalpindi has 17
centers while Attock has seven centers. Jhelum has five centers and Chakwal has four centers.
Murree has two centers while Talagang has three centers.

The board has also arranged examination centers according to the needs of male and female
candidates. These include 11 centers for male students and 12 centers for female students.
Another 17 centers will be used for both male and female candidates.

BISE Rawalpindi Chairman Prof. Dr. Iqbal Mahmood reviewed the examination arrangements
during a high-level meeting. Controller of Examinations Mubasher Saeed and Board Secretary
Zualkeef Umar Shah also attended the meeting.

The chairman said that the examinations would be conducted according to the instructions of
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Provincial Education Minister Rana Sikandar
Hayat.

He also confirmed that CCTV cameras have been installed at all examination centers. These
cameras will help the board monitor examination activities through its central Command and
Control Center.

The examination centers will remain connected to the command center for live online
monitoring. This system will help officials observe examination activities and take action if any
problem occurs.

Controller of Examinations Mubasher Saeed said that mobile inspection teams and District
Vigilance Committees would remain active during the examinations. Special inspection teams
will also visit examination centers without prior notice. They will check arrangements and submit
daily reports to the board office.

Board Secretary Zualkeef Umar Shah said that secure transport arrangements had also been
made for examination papers and answer sheets. Question papers will be safely delivered to
the designated bank vaults. Answer sheet bundles will be returned to the board headquarters
every day.

These arrangements aim to ensure transparent and fair examinations across all six districts.
The board is taking special steps to prevent cheating and maintain proper discipline at
examination centers.
