The players and coaching staff were accompanied by Sri Lankan diplomats during the guided
tour. They visited several famous historical landmarks under the beautiful night sky. These
places included Alamgiri Gate, Badshahi Mosque, Hazoori Bagh and the mausoleum of Allama
Iqbal.
The guests also explored Sheesh Mahal, the largest picture wall, Royal Kitchen, Barood Khana
and the historic Lahore Fort. The Lahore Fort is an important historical site that represents the
Mughal period. It reflects the architectural beauty and cultural traditions of old Lahore.

monuments. These restoration efforts have helped preserve the city’s centuries-old heritage.
Visitors can now experience the history of Mughal emperors and explore places that once
served as royal residences and gathering areas.
The visiting guests received a special royal welcome at Lahore Fort. Staff members dressed in
traditional Mughal costumes welcomed them at Diwan-e-Khas. This historic hall was once used
by Mughal emperors to meet important guests and government officials.
The foreign cricketers also enjoyed travelling around the fort in colourful Rangeela Rickshaws.
These vehicles were decorated with traditional Pakistani truck art designs. A live performance of
the traditional dhol also added excitement to the evening.
The visiting players and match officials appreciated the beauty and historical importance of
Lahore Fort. They described the experience as memorable and said they would always
remember their visit. The guests were especially impressed by the historic atmosphere and
traditional cultural performances.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi welcomed the visiting teams and shared a message about
Pakistan. He said the country is peaceful and secure and its people have great love for cricket.
He also highlighted the warm hospitality of the Pakistani nation towards international visitors.
The PCB chairman hosted a special dinner for the visiting cricket teams and their officials.
Match officials, diplomats and PCB representatives also attended the event. Former PCB
chairmen Ramiz Raja and Zaka Ashraf were among the invited guests.
