A police encounter with two suspected robbers was reported near Tehat Phatak in the Kot
Lakhpat area of Lahore on Thursday. According to the police, the incident happened when
officers tried to stop two motorcycle riders for checking.

SP Asad Ali said that police officials signaled the two riders to stop. The suspects allegedly did
not follow the police instructions and instead opened fire at the police team. The officers then
responded, resulting in an exchange of gunfire.

During the firing, one of the suspected robbers was reportedly injured. Police said that the
injured man was hit by a bullet fired by his own companion during the exchange. He was
immediately taken to a hospital for medical treatment.

According to police officials, the injured suspect is currently out of danger and is receiving
treatment. Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the encounter and the
activities of the two suspects.

Police also said that the suspects were allegedly involved in a robbery against a woman a few
days before the encounter. Officials are now looking into that earlier incident and checking
whether the suspects may have been involved in other cases.

The incident took place in the Kot Lakhpat area of Lahore, near Tehat Phatak. Police have not
yet publicly shared the complete identities of the suspects or provided further details about the
alleged robbery involving the woman.
