The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti-Corruption Circle Lahore has arrested a man who
was allegedly pretending to be an FIA Sub-Inspector. The suspect has been identified as
Rizwan, according to the FIA Lahore spokesperson.

The FIA said that the suspect was allegedly using a black FIA uniform and official-looking FIA
badges to present himself as an FIA officer. The authorities arrested him during an operation at
the LESCO Raiwind Division office in Lahore on September 24.

During the operation, FIA officials reportedly found several items in the suspect’s possession.
These included an FIA uniform, investigation insignia, Sub-Inspector rank badges, a fake FIA
file, and other documents. The FIA team also took important evidence into custody for further
investigation.

The arrest has brought attention to the misuse of government agency uniforms, badges, and
official identities. Such items can create confusion and may cause people to believe that
someone is a genuine government officer when they are not. However, the exact reason why
the suspect was using the alleged fake FIA identity is still being investigated.

The available reports do not provide confirmed information about what the suspect was doing at
the LESCO office or whether he had used the alleged identity for any other activities. The FIA
has not publicly provided further details about these matters at this stage.

According to the FIA spokesperson, a case has been registered against Rizwan under Section
419 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC). Further investigation is now underway. Officials are
