compete and showcase their skills.
The three-day championship will take place at the Cycling Velodrome in Nishtar Stadium,
Qaddafi Stadium, Lahore. It will include competitions for elite and junior men and women.
The Pakistan Cycling Federation (PCF) is organising the event to support the growth of cycling
in Pakistan. The championship will give experienced athletes and young cyclists an opportunity
to compete at the national level.
Several teams are expected to participate in the competition. These include the Pakistan Army,
Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), Gilgit-Baltistan Scouts, Bikestan Cycling Academy and

regions.
Pakistan Cycling Federation President Syed Azhar Ali Shah said the event would help promote
cycling across the country. He explained that the federation wanted to create more opportunities
for athletes and improve the standard of track cycling.
He also stressed the importance of supporting junior cyclists. Young athletes will be able to gain
valuable experience and learn through competition against other talented participants.
The championship will also help identify promising cyclists who may progress to higher levels of
competition. Such opportunities can encourage young people to develop their sporting abilities
and work towards future goals.
The event is being organised with support and affiliation from relevant national and international
sports organisations. These include the Pakistan Sports Board, Union Cycliste Internationale
(UCI) and Asian Cycling Confederation (ACC).
The participation of athletes from different regions will help strengthen the national cycling
community. It will also provide a platform for cyclists to demonstrate their talent and compete for
national honours.
The championship is an important opportunity to encourage cycling and support the
development of young athletes in Pakistan. It may also inspire more people to take part in the
sport and follow competitive cycling.
Through this event, the Pakistan Cycling Federation aims to support emerging talent and
improve the country’s track cycling standards. The championship will be an important occasion
