Tourism Malaysia Visit Malaysia 2026–2027 campaign has received support from Berjaya
Hospitality Group through a new partnership. The agreement aims to attract more international
tourists and introduce Malaysia’s beautiful destinations, hotels and cultural experiences to
travellers around the world.
Tourism Malaysia and Berjaya Hospitality Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding at
Berjaya Times Square Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Mohd Amirul Rizal Abdul Rahim, Director General
of Tourism Malaysia, and Pravir Mishra, Group General Manager of Berjaya Hospitality Group,
signed the agreement. Senior officials from both organizations attended the ceremony to
support this important tourism initiative.
Under the agreement, both organizations will work together to promote Malaysia in international
markets. Their plans include promotional campaigns, international tourism meetings and
familiarisation trips for journalists, travel professionals and influencers. These activities will help
visitors learn more about Malaysia’s attractions and holiday opportunities.
Berjaya Hospitality Group operates 10 hotels and resorts across Malaysia. Its properties offer
different holiday experiences, from busy city locations to peaceful islands and relaxing highland
destinations. The group will also promote the campaign through its hotels and resorts in
countries including the United Kingdom, Japan, the Philippines, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and
Seychelles.
Tourism Malaysia and Berjaya Hospitality Group will develop special holiday packages and
marketing campaigns to attract more travellers. Tourism Malaysia will also support online
promotion through social media, influencer partnerships and digital platforms. These efforts aim
to make Malaysia more visible to people planning their next holiday.
To celebrate the partnership, Berjaya Hospitality Group has introduced the Stay Berjaya,
Discover More of Malaysia campaign. The offer provides discounts of up to 70 per cent on
room rates at participating properties. Guests must stay for at least two nights at participating
city hotels or three nights at participating resorts.
This partnership aims to strengthen Malaysia’s position as an international holiday destination. It
also highlights how cooperation between tourism organizations and hospitality businesses can
create new opportunities for travellers and support local tourism growth.
