Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi strongly condemned reported Houthi missile attacks
on Haramain Sharifain and expressed serious concerns about their security.

He said the Two Holy Mosques represent the most sacred places for Muslims worldwide and
their protection remains a shared responsibility.

Ashrafi serves as Chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council and Secretary General of the
International Council for the Respect of Haramain Sharifain.

He stated that nearly two billion Muslims consider the safety of Makkah and Madinah extremely
important and cannot accept threats against them.

He described the Two Holy Mosques as a red line for Muslims and said their respect and
security must never be compromised.

Ashrafi expressed concern about the reported ballistic missile attacks targeting Makkah and
Madinah and urged Muslim countries to remain united.

He warned that the intentions of Houthi militants and their supporters were dangerous and
required serious attention from international authorities.

He said Muslims must stand together against any attempt to target the Holy Kaaba and Masjid
Nabawi.

Ashrafi stressed that protecting these sacred places requires collective efforts and strong
cooperation among Muslim countries and international organizations.

He called upon Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin
Salman to take immediate diplomatic action.

He requested the Saudi leadership to arrange an emergency meeting of the Organisation of
Islamic Cooperation to discuss these serious security concerns.

Ashrafi also demanded an urgent meeting of the United Nations Security Council to address the
reported threats against the holy places.

He said international authorities must take effective measures to protect the sacred sites and
prevent further threats to their security.

He emphasized that Muslim leaders should make a clear decision and work together to protect
the religious importance of these places.

Ashrafi further stated that the entire Muslim community stands firmly with Saudi Arabia’s
leadership and people during these challenging circumstances.

He expressed support for Saudi Arabia’s efforts to protect the Two Holy Mosques and maintain
peace throughout the region.

He said Muslims worldwide remain united in their commitment to protecting the sacred places
and ensuring their continued safety.

Ashrafi concluded that the Muslim community cannot remain silent when the security and
respect of Haramain Sharifain face serious threats.
