Skagit Valley Halloween events will offer residents and visitors two exciting ways to enjoy the
Halloween season. The upcoming programme includes a classic horror movie screening and a
live drag show featuring talented local performers. Both events will take place at local theatres
and provide entertainment for people with different interests.
The first event will take place on Friday, October 16, at Concrete Theatre. The venue will screen
the 1959 horror film House on Haunted Hill at 5 p.m. The movie tells the story of a wealthy
millionaire who invites five strangers to spend a night inside a haunted mansion. He promises
each guest $10,000 if they survive the frightening experience. People interested in watching the
classic film can purchase tickets at the entrance for $9.
Another major attraction will be the annual Skagit Drag Halloween Show at Lincoln Theatre on
Saturday, October 17. The show will begin at 7 p.m. and feature performances by local drag
kings, queens and other artists. Gina Touché and Lady Charlamaine will host the evening.
Visitors can look forward to live singing, comedy, dancing and creative Halloween costumes
throughout the programme.
Organisers have encouraged guests to wear costumes and join the festive celebration. Tickets
will cost $35 for the first section and $25 for the second section. The show welcomes longtime
supporters and newcomers who want to enjoy an evening filled with creativity and Halloween
excitement.
These events give the community an opportunity to celebrate Halloween through movies and
live performances. Film lovers can enjoy a classic supernatural story while entertainment fans
can experience music and comedy. Both activities also help bring audiences together and
support local entertainment venues. Residents and visitors can select the event that best suits
their interests and enjoy a memorable Halloween weekend.
