The UHS BS Allied Health Sciences academic calendar has been approved for the Fall 2026
semester. The University of Health Sciences (UHS) made this decision during the 43rd meeting
of its Board of Studies for Allied Health Sciences in Lahore. Vice Chancellor Major General
(Retired) Professor Sohail Sabir chaired the meeting, which was attended by heads of affiliated
colleges. The board discussed class schedules, admission policies, and examination
arrangements for allied health programmes across Punjab.
According to the approved schedule, BS classes at affiliated allied health institutions across
Punjab will begin between November 2 and November 16, 2026. The university has set
November 30 as the deadline for filling vacant seats through the waiting list. No new admission
advertisements will be issued for these seats. The board also agreed that BS admissions for the
next academic year will begin after the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT).
Students who secure 50 percent or higher marks in MDCAT will be exempt from the separate
entrance test for BS programmes. This decision will help eligible students understand the
admission requirements and prepare for their applications. The university has also announced
the final examination schedule for both semesters. First-semester final examinations for Fall
2026 will begin on April 5, 2027, while second-semester final examinations will start on
September 13, 2027.
The board also approved panels of paper setters and examiners for the 2026–27 academic
year. These health campaign arrangements will support examination planning and academic
activities at affiliated institutions. Students are advised to follow official university
announcements for further information about admissions, classes, and examinations.
