LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi met Pakistan’s Under-19
cricket team and congratulated the young players on their recent performance in England.

The PCB has decided to introduce central contracts for Under-19 players for the first time.
The decision follows Pakistan U19’s strong performance in England, where the team won the
four-match one-day series 3-1.

Pakistan U19 head coach Shahid Anwar and the players thanked Mohsin Naqvi for meeting
and encouraging them. Captain Farhan Yousuf also appreciated the development camps held
in Multan, saying they had helped the players improve. Other young players said the new
contracts would increase their confidence and help them focus more on cricket.
