Lahore police have taken a Land Cruiser reportedly linked to popular YouTuber Rajab Butt into
custody over an alleged fake number plate. The incident took place near NFC Bridge, where
Sundar police stopped the vehicle and checked its registration details.

According to the spokesperson for the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations, the vehicle
was displaying a fake and non-standard number plate. Police officers questioned the driver,
identified as Musa Khan, about the plate. However, he reportedly could not provide a
satisfactory explanation.

Following the incident, Sundar police registered a case against the driver. Initial information
suggested that the Land Cruiser belonged to Rajab Butt, but authorities are still checking the
vehicle’s ownership and registration records.

Police have not confirmed whether Rajab Butt was personally involved in the alleged violation.
The investigation is ongoing, and officials are expected to verify the available information before
taking further legal steps.

The incident comes as Lahore police continue their campaign against vehicles using fake and
non-standard number plates. The purpose of this campaign is to ensure that vehicles follow
registration rules and display legally approved number plates.

DIG Operations Faisal Kamran stated that police had registered 1,508 cases during the ongoing
crackdown. This figure shows the scale of action being taken against suspected number plate
violations across Lahore.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the Land Cruiser case. Further details may

The case also highlights the importance of following traffic and vehicle registration laws. Drivers
